Ncandu Veterinary Clinic is a mixed animal practice that has been in operation for over 35 years. The clinic provides healthcare services for companion animals (dogs and cats) and production animals (cattle, sheep, goats and horses). We focus on preventative medicine, surgical procedures, general consultations, emergency treatments and large animal herd health. Our clinic stocks a range of dog food, pet products and over the counter medications.

About Us
Established in 1987 by Dr Barry Rafferty, the clinic was the first animal health care facility in Newcastle. Dr Barry Rafferty has since been the sole Veterinarian giving the town’s animals over 35 years of stellar service. After Dr Rafferty’s retirement, the clinic is under new ownership of Dr Ashlin Valan and Dr Chandini Seejarim. Dr Valan’s sole interest is production animal work while Dr Seejarim adores working with dogs and cats.
